1.1.ThisspecificationdescribestherequirementsfortheIonisationChamberRadiationSurveyMeter(hereinafterreferredtoas“theSystem”),formeasuringthephotonradiation,inparticularXray,forradiationprotectionpurposes,duringtheconductofshieldingverificationsintheXrayinterventionroom,tobeprovidedtotheHospital“LaMascota”withintheMinistryofHealth,inManagua,Nicaragua,hereinafterreferredtoasthe“EndUser”.

1.2.TheSystemistobeprovidedthroughtheIAEAProjectNIC“StrengtheningtheNationalInfrastructureforRadiationSafety”.

1.3.SuppliermayproposealternativesthatdifferfromthisSpecification,butareintendedtoproducethesameorbetterresultsforthisapplication.Insuchcases,thesemustbeclearlystatedandjustifiedintheofferandsufficienttechnicalinformationhastobeprovidedforassuranceof
